Feminism Rant

*Possible Trigger Warnings*
Okay. So, just to state from the start, I am not directing this as any specific persons, nor am I making this a generalization fallacy(In other words, I’m not saying that all feminists are like this) This is just from my personal experience with feminists. (Note: This post is going to be pretty scattered, as I’m quite tired, and I’ve lost my rage for the meantime, so I’m just going to touch up on some things arbitrarily  so if anyone wants to bring up anything, feel free to, and I’ll address it.)
First off, one thing that really kind of bugs me, is how they say they’re all so oppressed  meanwhile, they don’t know the meaning of the word truly. If they were to go to India or a place where woman are not looked at as a human being really, THEN they would know what oppression is really like. hell, I’m sure a lot of women from those kinds of countries would give limbs if they could have the luxuries woman in countries like Canada and America have.
Now, lets go through some things, where woman have it better than men.
- Child custody battles (Women are automatically rated to be more suitable as the parental guardian over a child, whether or not they would be more fit to be the parental guardian over the man)
- Homosexuality (Lesbians are more widely accepted than Gay men. Because lesbians are ‘hotter’)
- Emotions (Women are fully accepted to be able to be very emotionally sensitive [they can cry during a romantic movie and nothing is thought of it], but men are supposed to be emotionally strong, and only ‘gay’ men can be emotionally sensitive.)
- Women can’t rape men (For some stupid reason, many people, not just feminists, seem to have this idea in their head, that woman cannot rape a man. or that it’s not anywhere nearly as severe as when a man rapes a woman.)
- Eating disorders (By this I just mean that, people tend to forget the fact that males have eating disorders too. There are probably just as many males with eating disorders as females, but it’s not as well known, because too many people seem to think that males don’t have these body image issues that females have. Bullshit. They have just as many body image issues as females.)
- Women abusing men (I mean this more in a domestic violence way. But woman being abusive to men is just as common as men abusing women, but it’s not looked at as being nearly as ‘bad’ of a crime. The reason? It seems that seeing as men are supposed to be bigger and stronger than a woman, they should  be able to defend themselves from being attacked or some shit like that.)
- Women can laugh about another woman attacking a man, but a man cannot laugh at another man attacking a woman without it being this huge sexist and horrible thing.
- Women don’t have to pay as much child support as men(this may differ from state/province and/or country)
- Women don’t have to worry about being drafted to war, but men do.
- The man is the one who should protect the woman (I think this is dumb. Men need protection too. Just because the average man has a larger build than a woman, therefore typically more stronger, doesn’t mean they are going to use that ‘strength’ to defend themselves when being attacked)
- Males are more likely to be ridiculed if they do “female things” (let’s say, knitting, or playing with barbies or something like that) but females are more likely just to be labeled as ‘tomboys’ if they enjoy doing “male things” (let’s say football, and skateboarding [It’s really hard to think of something that are male things that it’s not “odd” for females to also partake it])
- When it comes to life and death, men are the ones that become last priority. It’s woman and children who are first priority to save.
- Female genital mutilation is a serious NO, NO! But male genital mutilation is still common practice.
Okay, so that’s going to be it for that for now, I can’t think of any more right now at the top of my head.
Just a couple quick things I want to bring up about this subject before I go to sleep (I’ll likely continue this at a later time)
“Every other place in the world is a safe space for men. My blog doesn’t need to be one of them.”  Now I don’t know about you, but that sounds pretty misandristic to me. Of course it’s getting support though from other feminists. But not only is it untrue that “Every other place in the world is a safe space for men.” but, this post would not be supported by feminists, if it about women, instead of men. It’s not only sexist when men do it.
Now, this brings me to the end of this topic for today. Only because I really need to get some sleep. I just want to finish by saying, I’m not anti-feminist, I am in support of equal rights. But I am not in support of women(or other men) hating on men for some of them being sexist, but turn around and be sexist towards men, and be supportive about being supportive towards men. That promotes male abuse and oppression. I don’t support “turning the tables”, I support the tables being equal.
Also, I leave you all some videos to check out.
